What happens when a man and woman, on what appears to be a blind date, realize they are really characters in someone’s dreams? Dan Borengasser’s original script, Dream Date, directed by Kim Martin, explores the unusual, surreal and often humorous situation of a man and a woman caught in another person’s dream. Ryan Martin, portraying the Man, was last seen as Fyedka in Fiddler on the Roof and also performed with the national award-winning ensemble of God of Carnage. Maegan Carnew-Megginson, playing the Woman, is returning to the BLT stage and was last seen as Stella in A Streetcar Named Desire. Maegan also serves on the BLT executive board.

Rounding out the ensemble are Rick Olsen, most recently seen in Galveston Wind, and Tommy Worley, last seen in Fiddler on the Roof. The four characters weave a tale of “what if” in a play about finding that perfect dream date while commenting on relationships and finding happiness with that special person.

You won’t want to miss this funny dream fantasy!
