Texas Nonprofit Theatres (TNT), the statewide theatre support organization, is sponsoring its biennial new play contest. If you have a play that you have written, or if you’ve always wanted to try your hand at writing a play and seeing if you could get it produced, this may be the motivation you need to get it in front of a wider audience. If you know of a budding writer who would enjoy the challenge of a contest such as this, please pass this information along.
Known as POPS (Production of Original PlayS), this year’s contest, which has a submission deadline of September 16, is sure to have some Sizzle along with the POPS.
