The Baytown Little Theater is excited to announce its fall semester Youth Workshop Class. Eight weekly classes will be offered, beginning Friday, October 19, and continuing through December 14. The class will not meet Friday, November 23, so this will include a total of eight (8) class sessions.
The class, designed for youth in junior high and high school, will meet from 6:00-8:00 PM each Friday at the Bayer Conference Center at Lee College. The Bayer Conference Center is upstairs in the Student Activities Center (Building 7), near Parking Area 10 off South Whiting Street. Click this link for a map of Lee College.
The workshop will be taught and coordinated by John Morales (contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org, or 281-798-1107), who has been directing and conducting youth classes for the Baytown Little Theater for the past four years. The classes will involve in-depth scene and character study especially designed to prepare students for performance in future productions. Classes will continue in the spring and culminate in a production to be performed at the Baytown Little Theater in June and at the annual Texas Nonprofit Theatres Youth Conference, scheduled for June 12-16 in Odessa, Texas.
The fee for the class in $40.00 for the Fall Sessions. Registration can be accomplished online by signing up on this link, or in person at the first workshop session on Friday.
