Description
Two young people in 1890's England put some excitment into their lives. Worthing invents a brother, Earnest, that he uses as an excuse to leave his dull life in the country to visit the beautiful Gwendlyn. Moncrief decides to take the name "Earnest" when visiting Worthing's lovely ward, Cecily in the country. The situation becomes hilarious when they end up together in the country and their deceptions are discovered.
